A man prepares the daily meal for his
children and sets it before them to eat... they eat their meal
in silence not speaking to him, or saying thankyou. Would he
be upset? They do the same the next day and every day after
that continually. Would he be angry? Would he be entitled to
withhold their food? When they reach adulthood would he invite
them to live near him?
O reader, have you ever given thanks to your heavenly Father
for any of His daily provision for you throughout your life?
Do you give Him even a thought, or is it 'out of sight,
out of mind'? O reader, without God in your life... you are
being godless! If so, do you really think that if you continue
on that way, when you meet Him, that He will invite you to spend
eternity in His presence? And even while on earth, would you
be surprised if He withheld the rain which supplies your table?
Rev 11:6
Why God Created YOU: You O
reader, wherever you are, regardless of your nationality
or gender, are a created being, a descendant of the first
man Adam, created in the image of God Genesis 1:27, the son of God Luke 3:38. You have been created in the
hope that you might reach out and find Him Acts 17:26-27, who wants all of His descendants
to find Him, to know Him, to love Him and live in His
Holy presence both in this temporal life and into eternity.
The soul without God is empty, always searching as the
transient pleasures of this life disappear like a mirage.
To experience a relationship with God is to find fulfillment
in life and fill the emptiness that always exists in the
soul without Him, because there is no peace for those
who reject God for He has planned it that way. Isaiah 48:22 God is love, and He offers
to share His love, joy and peace with us. Our souls find
peace Galatians 5:22 and enjoy these blessings,
finding fulfillment when we live in fellowship with Him,
because for this purpose we were created and the gospel
of Jesus Christ enlightens us and shows us the way.
Our Sin Alienates Us From God:
But God is Holy, without sin and cannot tolerate sin,
declaring that the penalty for sin is death. Genesis 2:17 Romans 6:23 Whereas we are sinners inheriting
from birth a spiritually corrupt and self centered human
nature, disobeying the will of God and resulting in mortality
Romans 5:12. Furthermore, we have been born
into a world where the Spirit of Evil exists which is
the complete opposite to God's Holy Spirit, who is at
war with Him, and opposing Him seeks to deceive and corrupt
us further by enticing our sinful human nature, further
alienating us from Him. Therefore in our natural sinful
state we are incompatible with Him and unable to live
in His Holy presence, so therefore we need the saving
power of the gospel in order to save us from our sins
and make us holy. 1 Peter 1:16
Jesus Conquered Sin: God knowing
this, sent his only Son Jesus from heaven to earth to
die for our sins John 3:16, and remove this barrier that
separates us. His death canceled the legal penalty against
us. Colossians 2:14 Jesus Christ the Holy Son
of God became a man made of flesh and blood, Philippians 2: 6-8 and being empowered by
the Holy Spirit Luke 4:1 perfected obedience Hebrews 5:8-9 to the will of God. And though
being sinless 1 Peter 2:22, He obeyed God and died on
a cross. Therefore the devil had no power or claim over
Him, and God raised Him from the dead to live forevermore,
and gave Him authority Mathew 28:18 to save all those who believe
the gospel of Jesus Christ, and through faith in Jesus
obey Him. Hebrews 5:9
How To Be Saved From Sin:
The apostle Peter said in answer to the question "What
must we do (to be saved)?... "Repent, and
let each one of you be baptized in the name of
Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you
shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit".
Acts 2:37-38 And Jesus described salvation
saying that it was necessary to be '
B O R N .. A
G A I N ' John 3:5, saying "unless you are born
of the water and the Spirit you cannot enter the kingdom
of God." Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to live in
those who obey Him John 14:15-17. For the indwelling Holy Spirit
is given to save us from the power of sin and sanctify
our spirit so that we may become like Him 2 Corinthians 3: 18, to love one another,
and also to empower us to endure the opposition and hostility
to His manifestation of godliness in us. To be a Christian
is to have Jesus Christ within! Romans 8:9 Furthermore,
if we obey Him and love one another, we live in His presence
and also enjoy fellowship with our Christian brethren
in the church, Gods adopted family... the kingdom of God!
1 John 1:7
Choose Eternal Life Or Death:
Reader, there is now no excuse to live under the power
of sin and away from His presence, because Jesus has overcome
the Devil and his power of sin over us. So YOU
must choose, either believe the gospel and obey Jesus
Christ so that you may be cleansed of your sins, entering
into His presence right now and also into the family and
kingdom of God with love, joy and peace, then later on
rising in the resurrection of the righteous into eternal
life. Or reject God in your life and remain godless in
your sin, condemning yourself by rejecting Him and His
salvation to later on share in the judgment of eternal
fire with the devil and his angels. Psalm 9:17 2 Peter 3:7 Mathew 25:41
The eternal choice
is yours!
